A Photo-story by Rose
Does it hurt now to look back?
I was looking for a subject when I visited Nandi Hills for the first time. That’s when I heard a loud thud from behind. A little girl was crying. It didn’t take me much time to understand that the sound was heard as she slipped and fell. I got her mother trying to console her. Yet, she cried as loudly as she could. Then the mother took her in hands and shook her like how we do in swing, basically what parents do when they find out their child fell. My eyes followed her for some time. A few minutes later I saw her laughing with her siblings. It felt like she didn’t even remember why she cried for in the first place. Sometimes forgetting what hurts us brings a big curve on our face. There is no other example that can portray that better than this.
